Help People You Know

Justin Dockstader

YOUR REAL ESTATE CONSULTANT FOR LIFE

I Know You Know Someone

As you know, for the past two years there has been a shift in the real estate market. Experience shows that more and more people are caught off-guard with the current economic difficulties. I imagine you may know people who are in a dilemma like never before, and they don't know what to do. As you look at these three categories ask yourself, "Who do I know that's in one of these three situations?"

(1) People who bought their homes within the past five years, or refinanced, or took out an equity line, who now are finding that their homes are worth less than what they owe on it;

(2) Homeowners facing financial difficulties: job loss, loss of a spouse, divorce, or possibly heading into foreclosure;

(3) Home sellers who wish they had sold a year or two ago, but for
whatever reason didn't. Now they feel trapped and don't know what to do.

These people need help, and they need it NOW! The next time you're in a
conversation with someone who is in any of these three categories, stop,
pick up your phone, look up my number 801-404-3625, and call me
immediately. You can count on me to be empathetic, to be there for
them, exploring all options, and treating them with the utmost dignity
and care. More than ever before, we need each other. And together,
we can make a difference!

Again, as you look at these three categories ask yourself,
"Who do I know that's in one of these three situations?

Proactive Selfless Help

I was just thinking of a story told to me by my 6th grade teacher, Mr. Bown. (Yes, I made it through the 6th grade). There once was a selfish hermit who lived high on a mountain above a small town. Many of the townspeople had tried to befriend the hermit over the years with no success. One day a huge flood came down the mountain washing the hermit from his house. Some of the townsmen went to find the hermit. They found him hanging, holding on to a log over a rushing river. A man balanced out on the log and reached down to the hermit saying, "Give me your hand". The hermit responded with, "I have never given anything to anyone, I will not give you my hand". The quick thinking townsman reached out again and then said, "Here take my hand". The hermit was saved.

Meet Justin's Friend,

Cody And Emily Hoagland met in 2001 online, yes online! They talked for weeks and decided to meet in person. After meeting in person on November 20th, they fell in love, got engaged on Christmas eve and were married February 1st 2002.

Emily is working in health care as a nursing assistant at Utah valley hospital. She loves drawing pencil portraits, but most of her passion goes into her job.
She gets an awesome feeling from helping those who cannot help themselves and knowing that she is making a deference. She loves the outdoors, but wishing she
had more time to go out.

Their dog Bella is amazing and keeps them on there toes! Bella is a 14 month old, Old English Mastiff and weighs in at about 145 pounds. (She is still growing - see picture below)

Cody is an award winning photographer from central Utah. He has been capturing extraordinary images since 1996. He got his start shooting weddings and portraits, but recently his focus and dedication has turned to wildlife and other magnificent moments in nature. Cody's passion is capturing majestic animals in their natural habitat and bringing them to life for the viewer through his lens. Much of Cody's work has been featured on National Geographic's website as well as on local television. His adventures are always leading him to new and exciting places so his photos change often.
