(The names in this story have been changed to protect the innocent.) A friend (Milton) invited my family, to join his, on a hay ride to see Christmas lights. We asked around looking for someone who would lend us some hay to place on the hay trailer. We finally found (Charlie)a friend that agreed to meet us at his place later that day to loan us some hay. Milton and I ran a few errands. When we returned we elatedly discovered that the hay had already been delivered by Charlie. The next morning after the hay ride we contacted Charlie to return the hay. Again he agreed to meet us at his place later that day. Within a few minutes Charlie was at the trailer loading the hay back onto his pickup. Not only am I grateful for great friends but Milton and I learned a new lesson about a higher level of service. I am going to look for opportunities to make "hay rides" for others. Merry Christmas!
